Our Mission

Saint Ignatius Loyola School is a Catholic, co-educational school under the auspices of the Archdiocese of New York serving families with children from PreK-3 through Eighth Grade.

The mission of the school is to integrate Catholic Christian values, as exemplified by St. Ignatius Loyola and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, with high academic achievement, in an environment that encourages an enthusiasm for learning. Building on a legacy of stewardship, Christian values are incorporated into every area of secular study and activity; and service to the community is highly encouraged through student involvement with charitable activities.

Students gain independence while learning the importance of responsibility, honesty, service and friendship. Our curriculum at all grade levels includes language arts, mathematics, science, religious studies, art, music, technology and physical education. Students in Grade 4 and above also study Latin.

The school celebrates a multicultural community as reflected in our administration, faculty and students; and recognizes the important role parents have as the primary educators in their children's lives.
