Last week the Student Government led the school in two fundraisers to benefit the Central Park Conservancy, and to have a little Valentine’s Day fun.
First was a “Guess the Chocolate” game where students on the Lower and Upper campuses paid fifty cents a try to guess how many Hershey Kisses were in a jar. This was followed by a bake sale on Friday, February 11th, where the student government filled up a cart of “baked” goods and treats and visited each floor at recess. Although we couldn’t have a real bake sale, due to covid restrictions, students had fun choosing from individually wrapped, store bought treats to enjoy at recess.
Together our community raised $2,900 for Central Park. We are so happy to give back to the park where so many of us spend a lot of our leisure time with classmates, friends, and family.
